  • No, North Carolina is a direct assess state for Occupational Therapy services.

    Some insurance companies do require a referral if you are desiring to submit your super bills. Contact your insurance company if this applies to you.

  • No, we are an out-of-network practice therefore you pay directly for services at the time of the appointment.

    This allows us to keep YOU as our number one focus and individualize your treatment plan to your needs and goals. This model allows extra personalized care like extended evaluation and treatment sessions, which allows faster results over fewer visits.

    You will be provided with a superbill to assist you with applying for insurance reimbursement. If your health insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, this may allow you to be reimbursed in part or full.

    We do accept HSA cards.

  • One-on-one evaluation in a private room. We will discuss medical history, previous therapies, and discuss your concerns and goals. We will complete other assessments which we will review the findings of, together. The direction of the session will be based off of the goals and what your body is revealing.

  • Comfortable clothes that you can move in.

    If you are brining in your child and they are struggling with accidents please bring a clean set of clothes

  • Yes, there is no contraindications just personal preference.

  • That is totally fine and doesn’t make it that you can’t benefit from pelvic floor therapy. There are many exercises and assessments that can be completed fully clothed. You are in complete control and ownership of your body during a session.

    Pediatric patients will not have any internal work done unless they have had previous gynecological exams. We value your child’s autonomy and will not require them to do anything they are not comfortable in doing.

  • Yes, most of the time there are many benefits of doing pelvic floor therapy during pregnancy to prepare yourself for delivery. It is important to ask your medical provider before scheduling an appointment. Some individuals have restrictions that limit their participation.

  • If you are an adult patient, you are welcome to bring a significant other or anyone that you are comfortable with.

    If you have a baby you are always welcome to bring them to your appointment.

    If you are a child, you are required to have your caregiver be present at your appointments. We also ask that other children don’t attend to keep the attention on the child receiving services.

  • For appointments cancelled or changed with less than 24 hours notice, or for no-showing at the time of your appointment, you will be charged $50 for your missed appointment.
